Why was my pre-order canceled, and what do I do now?

Pre-orders may be canceled by Twelve South for two reasons: 

  1. Credit card authorizations can only be held for 30 days.  If the item in the pre-order is not available within 30 days of the pre-order being submitted, the pre-order will be canceled, and you will automatically be signed up for an email notification when the item is available for pre-order again.
  2. Occasionally, a credit card charge is not successful despite the pre-order authorization.  If this happens, it is strictly a result of the credit card issuer declining the charge.  Any inquiries regarding why they declined the charge should be directed to them using the telephone number on the back of your credit card.  If you still wish to purchase the product, you will need to place a new order as soon as the product is available for purchase.
